It
Should Be
Written and Directed By
Ted Herstand
It was everything
it should have been and funnier!.
This hilarious
comedy made quite an impression with the audience. This is a
warm tale set against the poverty of the 1930’s that highlights
an indomitable matriarch who makes everything better, as it
should be. |

DON’T LET THE VOICES STOP!
As the Jewish
Ensemble Theatre makes plans to embark on its 18th season, it is
imperative that we all come together to ensure the survival of
both our cultural arts and our collective voice.
We are a family, and our identity is not defined as individuals,
but as a collective which makes a difference with our common
sense of values. While we may not always agree with some of our
family members, we understand the worth and impact of
communicating a cohesive message to the community at large so
that it hears our concerns. JET is the platform that can present
our views to the greater community.
But the economic outlook for producing professional theater is
bleak. The crushing economic reality of the metropolitan Detroit
area is obvious – the fears some feel are justified – and it is
natural to rein in any unnecessary expenditure in order to
protect themselves and their family when they feel threatened.
Please reconsider…as you fill out your subscription order form,
please make an additional donation to ensure that our culture
and values continue to be showcased and passed on to future
generations.
Without your support, JET’s voice falls silent.
